somewhere way back in time as the indian subcontinent developed, the lazy gene was implanted into us. As a result we found ourselves getting too fat to do anything, including moving our arms to feed our own fatness.
To counter this indian bio-engineers designed the Centralized Fat System (CFS). The notion was that if we could cluster all our body fat into our bellies, we could continue to eat as much as we like, and still be able to move our limbs around freely. Further, by grouping our fat into one area, we are not adding any more weight to our bodies, thus, our legs should still be capable of supporting our weight. Everything sounded perfect, all the elders of society approved, and the new CFS gene was injected into all new born babies, and passed down through the generations since then.
What was overlooked is the strain this would produce on the heart and lungs. All that fat that jiggles up and down as you try to run just strains the heart and the body. Unfortunately the indian lazy gene masked this side effect for many generations. As we found ourselves growing into a more global society, the laziness gene died away as it was not a sustainable life style. But the CFS gene still remains.
This is why most people from the indian subcontinent have FAT bellies, and stick thin limbs.
...And that is why I can't run. or be more athletic :(
