Cold Weather

The cold weather came down
Slashed through hope and relief
Reminded us the tyranny of times past
Burdened us with Layers to the last
Pains from within forgotten
Are now once again begotten
Menial tasks of little affection
Now require some distraction
An engineer writing poetry at work

conflicting interests

1) I want to walk around/move around, I don't like sitting in one place
vs
2) I HATE wearing my brace, which I should wear whenever I am moving around

at the moment 2 is winning, and that is why i am bored as hell and posting this to my blog.

Twice a day without fail

The irony

I will walk into the hospital tomorrow...without any difficulty.... then I'll come out on crutches :(
